IF you are a customer that wishes to have the drop in hardware cut outs, you will add as many crossmembers as you need/want to your cart and make the purchase. We will ship you your new upgraded crossmembers with a preprinted return label. Once you have swapped out your crossmembers with the new ones, you will repackage the old ones and send it back to us. Once we receive your functional crossmembers that are in working order, we will issue a 60% value of each crossmember return to you as a CORE EXCHANGE. The old crossmembers must be returned to TrailRax for the CORE EXCHANGE and refund of 60% value. This is 100% assuming that the crossmembers are fully functional meaning the threads on the end of the crossbar are in good and usable condition.

TrailRax, Inc. Warranty Policy 

 

TrailRax offers a lifetime limited warranty on all TrailRax products. Warranty is limited to product failure under normal operating conditions. Our lifetime limited warranty covers defects in materials used to manufacture our products,  defects in workmanship, and broken components deemed to have failed under proper installation and normal wear and tear. Due to the nature in which our products are used, TrailRax cannot be  responsible for any chips, scratches, rust or flaking to the finish. Additionally, TrailRax cannot be held financially responsible for any labor associated with installation or removal of our products. The placing of an order constitutes your understanding and acceptance of our Warranty policy.

This warranty does not cover defects caused by normal wear and tear, scratches, accidents, or products used for racing/competition. This warranty does not cover damage to the finish of powder-coated products. TrailRax, Inc. is not responsible for defects that are not in control of TrailRax, Inc. such as trail damage, overloading, incorrect assembly, or poor maintenance practices. TrailRax, Inc. is not responsible for defects or damage to products manufactured by other vendors and sold through TrailRax, Inc.

This  warranty only applies to the original retail purchaser and the original installation of the  product. This warranty is NON-TRANSFERRABLE.  No retailer, reseller, dealer, or agent is authorized to make modifications, extensions,  amendments, or additions to this warranty.

If you discover a defect, TrailRax will, at its option, repair or replace this product with a new or reconditioned product at no charge to you, provided you return it during the warranty period, with transportation charges prepaid, to TrailRax. (You can obtain additional information by contacting TrailRax at the address printed below). Prior to returning the product, you must obtain from TrailRax a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#) by contacting TrailRax at the address or phone number below. You are responsible for properly packaging the product to be returned. Please attach your name, address, telephone number, and a copy of the RMA form with ticket number, as well as a detailed description of the problem for which service is requested. If the repairs are covered by this warranty and if the product was properly shipped to TrailRax, TrailRax will pay the return shipping charges (domestic addresses only). This warranty applies only to TrailRax products manufactured by TrailRax that can be identified by TrailRax product trademarks, trade names, or logos affixed to them.

The original purchaser is responsible for shipping expenses to return the product to TrailRax.

ACTIONS THAT WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY 

  • IF PRODUCT WAS NOT PURCHASED DIRECTLY FROM TRAILRAX OR  AUTHORIZED TRAILRAX RETAILER OR DISTRIBUTOR. 
  • PROOF OF PURCHASE CANNOT BE PROVIDED. 
  • INSTALLATION OF THE PRODUCT ON THE WRONG VEHICLE OR MODEL. 
  • IF DETERMINED THAT PRODUCT OR INSTALLATION WAS MODIFIED,  CHANGED, ALTERED OR CUSTOMIZED IN ANY WAY. 
  • REINSTALLATION OF PRODUCT ON ALTERNATE VEHICLE.
  • INSTALLATION OF THE PRODUCT WAS IMPROPER. FOR EXAMPLE, CROSS THREADING HARDWARE.
  • USER NEGLIGENCE AND CARELESSNESS IS OBSERVED

This Product is strictly for existing customers who wish to upgrade their crossmembers to our newly designed crossmembers with cut out holes to drop in hardware without unbolting the crossmember from the rack. Since July 1st, 2024, TrailRax now sends these upgraded crossmembers AS STANDARD with most rack purchases (old inventory on other racks still have not been sold through noncut out extrusions). If you purchased a rack and received crossmembers that are anodized black on the ends, you have the updated crossmembers and have no need to purchase these ones.

For example, if you are ordering for your Bronco 4D, you will want to purchase 8 crossmembers, return all 8 of your old crossmembers and we will CORE EXCHANGE value of 60% of your purchase back. You will see a return of $32.99 for each crossmember that is in good and useable condition, when purchased at retail price of $54.99.

Add additional crossmembers for your TrailRax Modular Roof Rack at will! Our custom-made extrusions are made out of Clearfield, Utah with the absolute precision and quality you'd expect from us. These are anodized black and use a common 1/4 diameter bolt or smaller. These additional cross members are awesome to add to your TRMR Rack if you see a need to get more for mounting solutions.
