Shipping

Yes. We are able to ship to most of the world. If you provide us with your shipping address including postal code, along with what you are interested in, we can calculate how much your shipping will cost. We will create an invoice with a quoted shipping cost for you to process payment through.

Orders typically ship 48 hours from time of order placed unless otherwise stated.

During holiday seasons, our team sees an increased order volume in which may cause delays.

Keep in mind, backordered products will take longer than the expected ship time.

You only have to pay sales tax if you are located in the same state as our warehouse, Utah. We are still a small company and have yet to meet certain tax brackets to charge tax to other states. Changes may be required as our company expands.

Bronco 2-door and 4-door Racks

No. The TrailRax Bronco Modular Roof Rack can only be installed on 2-door and 4-door hardtop models.

Most aftermarket hardtops are compatible, but give us a call to confirm your setup.

Yes. The TrailRax Bronco roof rack works on painted hardtops.

When installing be sure to follow the tips below to ensure no damage to your paint.

The rear clamshell clamps are intentionally designed to be a very snug fit within the OEM mounting slots. The foam padding on the clamps is meant to compress over time (to approximately 3mm) and helps protect the roof while maintaining proper clamping force.
During installation, it’s not uncommon for some pressure to be required to fully seat the clamps into the OEM mounting locations. For best results, we recommend loosening all clamps first, positioning the rack and clamps into place, and then gradually tightening everything down evenly. This helps pull the rack into center and ensures proper alignment with the vehicle. In some cases, a bit of additional pressure is needed to get a clamp fully seated before tightening.

Yes. You can remove the front and middle panels of your MIC hardtop with the TrailRax rack installed. The rear panel cannot be removed, as the rack mounts to that rear section during installation.
Check out this video.

We recommend the billet brace to any customers who are running a heavy load or an awning. Due to the mounting points on the Bronco being spaced so far apart, side loads can cause some issues. The billet brace was created to solve this problem.

Yes. You are able to add the Pak Rax at a later date to the Roof Rack if you would like. If you plan on mounting a roof top tent it is recommended you have the Pak Rax. Without them you should stay within fords recommended weight limit of the hard top which is about 110lbs dynamic evenly distributed.

Our roof rack weight limit with the Pak Rax is 300lbs Dynamic or 850lbs static, evenly distributed, or another way to say that would be 300lbs load capacity when going down the trail/road headed to camp and 850lbs when you are set up for camp and hanging out.

The reason the Pak Rax is able to take on additional weight is due to the design. The Lower Pak Rax mount is mounted to the OEM fender support of the Bronco, this allows the weight to get distributed into the body of the Bronco.

The Bronco Half Rack will fit 2 66l Rugged Roam Boxes and utilize the entire mounting surface of the half rack.

For the full roof rack you are able to mount a variety of sizes, it will depend on your personal preferences and needs of the vehicle's roof rack.

PAK RAX

Yes, they can fit on 2 door Jeeps! For 4 door Jeeps, the MaxTrax will have to be offset to the rear of the Jeep from the Pak Rax due to the length of the MaxTrax. Without offsetting it, the MaxTrax will block the rear door from opening. You will also be required to buy a Recovery Board Plate that attaches to our Pak Rax. If you have any more questions, contact us at info@trailrax.com.

Yes. You will just need the extension mounts. You will need 2 of these to stack on a 4 gallon or 1 of these for each 2 gallon.

This has been done, however, we recommend using their 2 gallons or 4 gallon gas cans. These are what the Pak Rax were designed around.

No you cannot. The Universal Recovery Board Plate was designed specifically for MaxTrax MKII or Extremes. This can be confusing due to the name. The Universal Recovery Board Plate is universal in the sense that it can be mounted on either our Pak Rax kits or on top of our roof racks. It can also be used in other situations that may not involve the use of our products.
