TrailRax, Inc. Limited Lifetime Warranty Policy

TrailRax, Inc. offers a Limited Lifetime Warranty on all TrailRax products. By placing an order, you understand that it constitutes your understanding and acceptance of this policy.

Third-Party Product Warranties For products manufactured by our partners—including Rotopax, Roam, Maxtrax, GP Factor, Sunflare, Perfect Bungee, Rollercam, GME, and Alu-Cab—warranty claims must be directed to the manufacturer. While TrailRax is a proud authorized retailer, we do not process these claims internally. Please note that these items are covered by their respective manufacturer’s warranty. If you experience an issue, please contact the manufacturer directly for support. If you're not sure where to start, reach out to us and we’ll point you in the right direction.

Missing & Damaged Parts Reporting Policy:

The customer has thirty (30) days from the documented delivery date to notify TrailRax, Inc. of any missing and/or damaged components or hardware. All claims for missing parts must be accompanied by a copy of the Original Proof of Purchase and clear photographs showing all contents received in the original packaging.

1. Warranty Duration and Scope

  • This Limited Lifetime Warranty remains in effect for the duration the original retail purchaser owns the product and it is installed on the original vehicle. This warranty is NON-TRANSFERRABLE.

A. Covered Defects

This warranty is limited to product failure under normal operating conditions and covers:

  • Defects in materials used to manufacture our products.

  • Defects in workmanship.

  • Broken components deemed to have structurally failed under proper installation, necessary components for weight bearing, and normal use. Specifically, this warranty covers the structural failure of load-bearing components due to material defects or premature breakdown occurring during typical, non-abusive use.

B. Exclusions (What is Not Covered)

This warranty does not cover the following:

  • Finish/Cosmetic Damage: Any chips, scratches, fading, rust, or flaking to the finish or powder-coating.

  • External Damage: Defects or damage resulting from accidents, acts of nature, vehicle collisions, or trail damage.

  • Abuse & Misuse: Defects caused by competition/racing, overloading beyond the product's rated capacity, or poor maintenance practices.

  • Improper Use: Damage resulting from incorrect assembly, incorrect load bearing pieces, or installation, including, but not limited to, cross-threading hardware.

  • Third-Party Products: Defects or damage to products manufactured by other vendors and sold through TrailRax, Inc.

2. Remedy and Claims Process

If a covered defect is discovered, TrailRax will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the product with a new or reconditioned product at no charge to you, provided the product is returned during the warranty period.

A. Warranty Claim Procedure

Prior to returning any product, you must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#) by contacting TrailRax at the address or phone number provided below.

The original purchaser is responsible for shipping expenses to return the product to TrailRax.

385-777-2601

1654 W 1250 S, Unit 2

Woods Cross, Utah 84087

B. Shipping and Return

If the repairs are covered by this warranty and the product was properly shipped to TrailRax, TrailRax will pay the return shipping charges back to the customer (domestic addresses only).

To expedite your warranty claim, please ensure your return package includes:

  • The assigned RMA # (clearly marked on the outside of the box).

  • A copy of the Original Proof of Purchase.

  • Your current name, address, and telephone number.

  • A detailed description of the defect/problem for which service is requested.

  • The product must be properly packaged to prevent damage during transit.

3. Warranty Void Actions

TRAILRAX HAS THE RIGHT TO REFUSE/VOID A WARRANTY if the product falls under any of the following conditions. Products with voided warranties will not be eligible for exchange, refund, or warranty consideration.

  • Non-Authorized Purchase: The product was not purchased directly from TrailRax or an authorized TrailRax retailer or distributor.

  • Lack of Documentation: Valid Proof of Purchase cannot be provided.

  • Unauthorized Modification: The product or its installation was modified, changed, altered, or customized in any way from its original design.

  • Improper Application: Installation of the product on the wrong vehicle or model, or reinstallation of the product on an alternate vehicle.

4. Limitation of Liability

Replacement of a defective product or the issuance of a credit/refund (as determined by TrailRax) is the purchaser’s exclusive remedy under this warranty.

TrailRax cannot be held financially responsible for any labor associated with the installation or removal of our products.

TrailRax, Inc. is not liable for any consequential, incidental, or special damages, including, but not limited to, any damage to the purchaser's vehicle, cargo, or any other person or property that results from the use or failure of a TrailRax product.

COMPATIBLE BRANDS AND ACCESSORIES WITH TRAILRAX

While the Universal Topper Rack works with many brands, these partners collaborated with us during its design to ensure their products fit seamlessly. Choosing gear from these brands guarantees easy installation, perfect compatibility, and high-quality performance—so you can accessorize your rack without headaches and focus on your next adventure.

ADDITIONAL PRODUCT INFORMATION

While the TrailRax Universal Crossbar Kit is engineered to support substantial loads when properly installed, the structural capacity of the vehicle’s topper or cap — particularly fiberglass models — may limit the overall load rating of the installed system. The end user is solely responsible for verifying the load-bearing capacity and structural integrity of their specific topper or cap prior to installation and use. Always refer to the topper manufacturer’s published weight ratings and guidelines.

Due to the universal design of this product and the wide variation in topper and cap configurations, mounting hardware required to secure the rack to a specific topper may not be included. The customer is solely responsible for determining appropriate hardware specifications and sourcing any additional components necessary to ensure safe and proper installation.

TrailRax assumes no responsibility or liability for improper installation, use beyond the manufacturer’s specifications, structural failure of the topper or cap, or damages resulting from exceeding the topper manufacturer’s stated load limits.

DON'T CUT YOUR ADVENTURE SHORT
