Constructed from 3/16” 5052 aluminum and powder coated to resist rust and corrosion, with stainless steel mounting points for added strength.
Low-Profile
The rack adds 3.845" of height from the center of the hardtop, or 3.345" from the highest points of the hardtop (outer edges)
Modular Design
The rack features 90 degree bent channels and pre-cut slots that allow full 360 degree mounting for accessory mounting customization. Integrated hardware cutouts let you slide accessories into place without disassembling the rack.
High-Load Capacity
A 90 degree bend in the side panels increases structural rigidity and load-bearing strength. Static load rating is 850 lbs, with a dynamic load rating of 300 lbs. These ratings are rated and measured WITH optioned Pak Rax. The Pak Rax allows for the distribution of weight to the body of the Bronco allowing the best stability and carrying load capacity. Pak Rax load rating: 70 lbs per side respectively.
Bolt-On Install
Installation is straightforward. The clamping system mounts directly to the OEM Ford hardtop, while the front rails attach to existing windshield studs for added stability.
Aerodynamic
Engineered specifically for the Bronco, the integrated wind deflector follows the roof’s natural contours to reduce wind noise and improve on-road comfort. Even with the light bar cutout option, it delivers a quiet, refined ride without compromise. The cutout deflector is compatible with light bars from Baja Designs, Heretic Studios, and Diode Dynamics—just be sure to select the correct length to match your cutout.
While the TRMR Rack works with many brands, these partners collaborated with us during its design to ensure their products fit seamlessly. Choosing gear from these brands guarantees easy installation, perfect compatibility, and high-quality performance—so you can accessorize your rack without headaches and focus on your next adventure.
Shipping was very secure and PDF directions were very helpful. Get an extra pair of hands and place a blanket over the back to prevent scratching your top during install.
The rack is awesome once we got it on the Bronco. Had some trouble with lock nuts on front assembly but made due with what we had and some loctite.
Looking forward to continuing our build but excited to have rack for an upcoming trip!
This rack is one of the best things I've added to my Bronco. I got it so I could add a roof top tent, but the rack clearly steals the show. It was very easy to assemble and install. I managed the entire thing mostly by myself in one day. I just needed help getting the rear roof section off and on to install the Pak Rax brackets. It's very stable and strong, and the materials are top notch. It looks fantastic, too, and more than a few people have stopped me to say, "Nice rack!" Hahaha!
The installation was very straightforward. I modified the installation a little in that I mounted the two front accessory mounts above the windshield first and then tightened them down after the rest of the rack was installed! It worked great! Love the rack!
I had originally selected your rack, but unfortunately, it would not fit with the OEM painted top of my 2025 4 dr Bronco. I looked at several other racks and was about to buy a different rack and decided to check one more time if the Trailrax had been updated to fit, the OEM painted top and it had been. I was very happy that I waited.
The rack installment was very straightforward and everything went on without a problem. I was able to move everything that was in my bronco cargo area to the roof rack, thus allowing me to utilize the inside of the cab as a sleeping space.
One thing that I found very helpful was a pair of Welding clamps so I could clamp the brackets to the rack with the foam in place. Without these clamps, it would’ve been a challenge.
I am overall extremely happy with your product. Keep up the good work..
An excellent rack for the Bronco and, in my opinion, the top option on the market. Customer service is excellent. Fully responsive to pre-sale questions as well as a few questions I had during installation. Its obvious you are talking to folks who know off-roading and are passionate about their products. I ended up going with the light bar cut out and using the Baja OnX Dual Control wired up to the upfitters. I used wire hiders on either side to run the cables down the windshield instead of drilling holes or cutting into the weather stripping. Thank you TrailRax!
The OEM Bronco roof rack doesn’t have the dynamic weight capacity to support my rooftop tent. After searching for something that would work for me I came across the Trailrax TRMR rack with Pax Rax that can support the dynamic weight and more. I assembled and installed the roof rack myself without any trouble and finally got to test it with my RTT on a camping trip recently. It works great and looks great. I would recommend this if you want to carry loads heavier than what the basic OEM rack is rated for.
I really like the rack. Fairly easy to assemble. Seems very sturdy. Definitely increases wind noise. They were out of stock on some pieces so it took longer than expected to ship. Overall a nice rack.
Once ordered watch some videos of the install which was good. The instructions that came with it wasn’t that bad if read, had it together in a couple hours. I’ve had them on now for a couple of weeks and haven’t noticed really any noise or change In gas mileage. Really impressed with the quality.
Build and install was easy. Love that the side rails are one piece. Instructions are easy to follow and hardware is top quality. This thing is solid. We will be putting it to the test thie weekend
One of the best rack ever, and an easy installation, this would be the first trailrax in venezuela. Proud of the trailrax team for all the hard work making this racks
The TrailRax roof rack on my Bronco Raptor is outstanding. It’s solidly built, fits perfectly, and enhances both the utility and rugged look of the truck. Installation was straightforward, and the rack feels rock-solid even on rough trails and high-speed highway drives. It provides ample space for gear—whether it’s rooftop tents, recovery equipment, or extra fuel and water, without adding excessive wind noise. The modular design makes it easy to add accessories and customize for any adventure. Overall, the Trailrax roof rack has been a reliable, high-quality upgrade that’s ready for whatever trail I throw at it.
Love the end result. Install was pretty straight forward. Took longer than expected. Tightening down the bolts to the mount points above the windshield was not fun. Needle nose plyers helped drop the nuts in place but it feels like there could be a better way. Also, would like to have printed instructions that are a little more clear for where to use the short & long bolts and bigger and smaller nuts.
Easy to put together and install just have to get better with the alignment. If I were to do this installation often it’ll get smoother and faster. Just hope there’s ways to secure the bolts from being taken off by strangers.
Great customer service, packaging, and instructions. Only complaint is the pax rax should be customizable to allow you to order with different plates as I want to attach the mantrax but seems like I require a different mounting plate.
Great rack. Easy to install. Very well made. I replaced my Gobi rack with this since I decided to get a RTT and couldn’t be happier. The side mounting plates are awesome as well.
Fast shipping, great packaging simple to set up and assemble and provided me with what I was looking for out of a rack for my Bronco. I would highly recommend this rack to anyone looking for a high quality rack with modularity.
Works great for my purposes! Easy to get the forward sections of the top off and mount on accessories. Very solid, minimal wind noise in higher speed travel and limited fuel economy impact.
We put our cars and racks through immense pressure and have used two other previous rock providers, which were not up to the expectation. We are over the moon with the trail racks product and a customer service and have chosen to exclusively use them as our number one rackprovider can’t say enough on this company and organization quality customer service. Everything is top-notch well done trail racks.
What an amazing roof rack. It is extremely versatile and can be used with so many applications. This makes camping so much easier when everything doesn't have to go in the Bronco. Highly recommend !!!!
I can’t imagine having selected a better rack for my bronco raptor. I absolutely love this product and how secure it is and how quality everything feels and went together. I also added the 270° awning bracket, a pair of the 90° awning, brackets, a set of 4 1.5 inch tent risers, the handles to help reach up to the roof, the pack, racks, side rack, and I even bought some accessories like the Max tracks, the mounting pins, the mounting plate and a couple of the Roto packs as well. Hundred percent love the product. At first, I thought it was gonna be really expensive but then when I went for it and installed it all myself as a solo person doing the job I was thoroughly impressed with how it turned out.
The Roof rack worked perfect for my cross country trip to a Bronco and Jeep show in TN. About 4500 mile total trip over 3 weeks. Couldn’t have asked for anything better.
Alan
Top notch roof rack. The build quality is impressive and I’m about to purchase a second one. My first one even held up when I rolled my Bronco going 80 on the highway. Very sleek look and compatible with all the accessories you would ever want.
*The TrailRax modular roof rack works on Broncos with MIC and painted hardtops
*Offers the ability to remove the front and middle hardtop panels while the rack is installed.
Installation is simple: the clamping system mounts to the OEM Ford hardtop, with the front-most mounts attaching to existing windshield studs for added stability. The Pak Rax mounts directly to the Bronco body, distributing weight and reducing stress on the hardtop.
Ford rates the Bronco roof with a factory rack at "Max load 110 lbs dynamic and 450 lbs static evenly distributed." All these weights will be at your discretion as they are above Ford's "recommended" capacities. We build our rack to be capable on its own of withstanding 850 lbs static, and 300 lbs dynamic. GVWR and other factors such as roof materials, the center of gravity, and wind dynamics all apply to any load you put on top of a vehicle, and you, as the user, are responsible for the safe loading and operation of your vehicle. Please review your Owner's Manual to review your recommended payloads for your Bronco. If you need more information please contact us at info@TrailRax.com.
Table Slide Compatible:
Our Table Slide option is a patent-pending specialty of ours that we designed to be an additional storage solution. In this case with the Bronco, it mounts beneath the rack giving you the ability to carry a table in what is normally considered dead-space.
